NEW GUITARPLAYER FOUND
So we found a new guitarplayer. Suprisingly a guy from Pori...Sipe Erkinheimo (He's profile will be online soon)
Well anyway, with this line-up we'll kick ass even more.

SEARCHING FOR A GUITARPLAYER
The search
for a new guitarplayer is on it’s way. Mane decided to focus
only on vocals so new guitarplayer is needed.
It’s
fuckin’ boring to see people switch instruments n the middle of a
gig
and it’s a lot easier to perform when you’re focusing to only
one thing at a time.
The gigs will become more intense now and it will definietly sound much
better. We’re
always “a bit” drunk on stage so that doesn’t help this
focusing-thing much either.
Few candidates
have been interested and the “auditions” for the place
are on it’s way. Hopefully we’ll have a new guitarplayer in
the beginning of 2007.

DIAKHATE HITS THE STUDIO
Well, we hit
our friend's studio (Foreplay records) last weekend to record
a new demo. This time it's a bit heavier than My Thing.
We record two
songs, which are quite new: Goddamn hero and Prejudice.
These songs differ a lot from our old stuff. We try to make the sound a
bit "ranchier" and the singin' will be a lot different than before.
Goddamn hero
is leaning towards Pantera and we've played it only once on
a gig, but the feedback was quite good.
Prejudice got
it's roots from In Flames. We've played it a couple of times on gigs.
It might lack a decent melody, but I believe the energy and power of this
song makes it all up. I quess the demo will be finished in the beginning
of January.
I'll post the samples of the new songs here or to our myspace profile,
when they're ready.
After that,
we'll record two new songs: Knife and So called remedy.
These two lean towards trash metal and System of a down. Knife is
originally a Cryscythe song (our old band) but we’ve updated it a
bit.
But we'll see, we'll see.
